The Koshi Chime is handmade at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains in France. The inside of the chime features 8 silver rods that are 8 different tones that make up the Aqua Tuning. They are silver soldered into the metal base of the chime. A hard acrylic sphere hanging from the center rope strikes each rod in the perfect position. The chime is played by gently holding the rope at the top of the chime and lightly moving it in a circular motion. It can also be suspended by the rope and and hung near a window or fan to act as a windchime. The Koshi Chime is suggested for indoor use.

Aqua Tuning Koshi Chime

The Koshi chime is an authentic musical instrument, an original creation of high quality. Hand made in a workshop at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains, each chime is the result of meticulous craftsmanship. Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube. Precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones. The overtones of the shorter chords gradually dominate and become fundamentals, thus forming a circular tone range.
