Announcing a new collection available for checkout at the Auglaize County Library in Wapakoneta—Playaway Launchpads! This new collection of learning tablets have been funded by the Friends of the Wapakoneta Library. What are Launchpads? A learning tablet that both kids and adults will love. Every Playaway Launchpad is pre-loaded with high-quality, ad-free learning apps and games, providing hours of interactive learning and play. How does it work? Launchpads are currently only available at the Central Library in Wapakoneta. Launchpads must be checked out and returned to this building. The Adult Collection has five launchpads, the Teen Collection has four launchpads, and the Youth Collection has thirteen for checkout. Select the Launchpad you are interested in and place a hold through the catalog by clicking here or on the links below. Pick up when notified. Who can get one? Patrons must be 18 years of age or older to place a hold or checkout a device. You must have a valid Auglaize County Library Card and be in good standing. May I return the Launchpads in the bookdrop? No, Launchpads must be returned directly to Auglaize County Library’s circulation desk at the Wapakoneta location This item cannot be returned to other libraries, ONLY Auglaize County Library in Wapakoneta How long may I keep the Launchpad? The loan period is two weeks. Devices may not be renewed. Users will be limited to one device per household. What if I break or lose the Launchpad or any of its associated components? You are responsible for loss or damage to the Launchpad or any of its contents. Any damage/or lost item(s) will be assessed a fee based on the cost to replace the damaged or lost item(s).
