Sionnach, the Irish word for fox, has a spark of cleverness in their eyes in this piece. A stack of books implies the summer reading list is already complete! I continue to feather the Irish language into my artwork as part of my journey of learning my family language after two generations of its absence, helping me infuse joy and familiarity into a creative and organic learning experience.
