The Xylophone (シロフォン, Shirofon) is a musical instrument in the percussion family. A person who plays the xylophone is called a xylophonist or simply a xylophone player. The xylophone consists of a set of wooden bars arranged like a piano keyboard. Each bar is tuned to a pitch of the chromatic scale, with longer bars being lower-pitched and shorter bars being higher pitched.
